Lake Como, our base for the Giro is the most dramatic of the lakes. Crystal blue water surrounds the hotel whilst Como, a thriving town, offers some great cafes and restaurants for the time you aren’t on your bike.
Lake Como is magnificent in autumn, during the Giro, as the leaves start to change colour. The temperatures drop to the low 20s making for some great cycling weather. The sun is out, the air is crisp and the backdrop to Lombardy is simply stunning.
