Mallorca is well known for being home to the pros and offering spectacular climbing. What is less well known though is that the island is also a perfect destination for some slightly easier cycling.
Beautiful stone wall lined roads meander their way through orange groves, almond orchards and out to the southern coastline. Visit probably the most beautiful beach in Mallorca, Es Trenc, or explore tiny Mallorcan villages serving extraordinary tapas.
The weather in Mallorca makes it one of the most sought after destinations by bicycle. If your imagining Mallorca only offering stag and hen parties, think again because the island offers amazing riding in great weather to attract cyclists from all over the world. Mallorca has a relatively cool but sunny Spring and Autumn so if you’re planning on travelling between March and May and September to November, you will see a lot of bikes. You can also cycle in the summer and we would recommend beautiful early morning rides or later afternoon rides and to avoid the midday sun.
