From humble beginnings in 1970, the Nove Colli has grown to become one of the most popular Italian sportives on the calendar with over 10,000 riders. Starting in Cesenatico on the shores of the Adriatic, you can race the 200km full distance route across the 9 hills, or take on the less extreme 132km distance. Both routes are held on closed roads so you can enjoy your ride through the spectacular Emilia Romagna countryside.

Located on the Adriatic coast, Cesenatico is a wonderful place to relax before and after the Nove Colli. With sandy beaches stretching as far as the eye can see and great local restaurants, you will love your time in Emilia-Romagna.
May is a great time to ride the Nove Colli from Cesenatico. Temperatures are usually around the mid 20s with a low chance of rain, making the race extremely pleasurable.
