Suggested Holiday

This trip is entirely flexible and can be tailored to your requirements. You can choose when you would like to arrive and for how long you would like to stay.

We recommend arriving into Palermo and from there we will take you to Balestrate on the northern coast. With views over the Med, you can enjoy the beaches before getting on your bike. Visit the medieval town of Castellammare del Golfo, explore the coast to Trapani or head inland to discover Sicily’s rich countryside. You will be provided with GPX routes to follow, guiding you round the best cycling roads that Sicily has to offer.

The SpringMarch to May
Spring brings warm and sunny weather to Sicily, with plenty of sunny days, and makes it an ideal season for cycling. In the beginning of May, the Adriatic Sea starts to warm up again so you can enjoy some swimming during your holiday.
The SummerJune to August
The height of summer is particularly hot but is great for lazy days on the bike soaking up everything Sicily has to offer. August is the hottest month of the year.
The AutumnSeptember to November
Autumn in Sicily can remain warm and it is an ideal season for cycling here. Sunny days and a temperate climate makes for the perfect cycling holiday.
The WinterDecember to February
Sicily gets cooler int he winter with December the most likely time for rainfall. Cycling can still be enjoyed here during this time so long as the correct clothing is worn.
