  • Check in to the 4* Cap Negret Hotel.

16th October 2020
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Delivery of hire bikes and meet the ride guides.
  • Today you will ride the Benilloba route, a special ride that replicates Stage 2 of the 2019 Vuelta a Espana. 120km with an ascent of 1600m takes you around winding mountain passes that boast inspiring views and incredibly quiet roads. Make sure to stop at the idyllic hill top town of El Castell de Guadalest, where you can snap a picturesque photo of the valley below!
  • Dinner at the hotel.
17th October 2020
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • The climb of the day is arguably the most famous in the region, and a must ride for any seasoned cyclist. Although the Coll de Rates isn't the hardest climb at 6.5km and an average gradient of 5% from Parcent, it's hard not to love the epic balcony road and classic status it holds. Make sure to carry on to the real 'secret' summit of Coll de Rates, which is actually 3km further along an asphalt path from the Coll de Rates cafe. All in all today's route will total to around 105km with 1900m of ascent.
  • Dinner at the hotel.
18th October 2020
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Your last route of the trip takes you on the Benasau Loop, which in total is a hardy 103km and 2328m of ascent. The terrain is fairly undulating until nearly 40km in, where the gradients begin to kick up. It's a long haul up to Benasau, as the climb gradually gets steeper. Look forward to the switchbacks, as there are plenty scattered en route!
  • Farewell dinner at a restaurant.
19th October 2020
  • Check out and transfer back to Alicante for flights home.

**Routes subject to change depending on weather, road conditions and group level.
