Book the 2024 Etape du Tour Today

LATEST UPDATE 28 JULY 2020 9am

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) is advising British Nationals against all but essential travel overseas but have provided a list of countries that are exempted from this restriction. All destinations that Love Velo operate in are currently unaffected, save for one, although some may require self isolation on your return from that country. Please speak to us if you are unsure whether you are required to self isolate on your return from your booked destination and we will advise.

The only country that is not exempted from the FCO advice at today’s date is Spain.

I am travelling to Spain in August 2020, what should I do?

We are hugely thankful to our loyal customers for allowing us the time to deal with the constantly fluid advice from the FCO. As you can imagine, Spain is a key destination and we have many travellers due to travel there in the next few weeks and so we will be contacting people in date of departure order. We will have contacted you prior to 2 weeks before you are due to depart to advise you of your options.

If your booking is not due to travel in August, we would ask you not to contact our Customer Service helpline. Please email on [email protected] instead and we will contact you as soon as we can.

I am travelling to Spain after August 2020, what should I do?

As FCO advice relates to imminent travel, travel after August 2020 is not imminent and at the moment, your trip is still likely to go ahead unless we have informed you that the trip has already been cancelled by suppliers. If you choose to cancel a trip that is still due to go ahead, it is unlikely that you will be able to claim on your insurance. We do recognise of course that some people may not want to travel and so if that is the case, we will in some circumstances be able to move your dates for you (subject to suppliers). Please get in contact with us at [email protected] in this scenario.

My balance is due for a holiday after August 2020, what should I do?

Balances for trips scheduled for post August 2020 onwards need to be taken in accordance with your balance due date but we understand if you are hesitant to do that. Please speak to us so that we can help and advise if your balance is due.
