Cycling Holiday With Laura Scott

A fully flexible cycling holiday in Mallorca

What we love About your cycling holiday with Laura Scott

We love...Riding with Ultra-Endurance cyclist Laura Scott
We love to offer trips that nobody else can offer and this is a specially curated trip with Laura. Laura is an ultra-endurance cyclist, who only picked up cycling six years ago after deciding to ride from Paris to London after a few beers down at her local. Since then she has taken part in a number of endurance events including The Trans America Bike Race, TransAtlantic Way, LEJOG and Bryan Chapman Memorial audax.
We love...Expert Training
Laura will be hosting this 4-day training camp focused on building early-season fitness, whether that is your first 100km or you want to start racing endurance. On the training camp, you will get to ride with Laura and our guides and have the opportunity to get feedback on how to help reach your own cycling goals. This trip is limited to just 20 and is likely to sell out immediately so don't delay in making your enquiry.

We love...The Mallorcan views
With stunning views across the Tramuntana mountain range, to the golden fields of the Mallorcan countryside, this trip offers the best of the island. Staying in the foothills of the mountains, you will take in the legends of Sa Calobra, Cap Formentor as well as quaint rustic villages and simple Mallorca life.

Your Laura Scott Cycling Holiday

Day by Day

Day 1Thursday 28th March
Total distance50kmTotal climb500m

Upon arrival in Palma airport, you will be picked up and taken to the hotel. Check in, relax and enjoy the beauty fo your surroundings. We will build the bikes today (or have them delivered if you’re hiring) before heading out on a short spin across the flatlands to spin the legs.

This evening, enjoy drinks and dinner with Laura. She will be speaking about what the next few days will look like, asking what your goals are and how you can go about achieving them.

Day 2Friday 29th March
Total distance95kmTotal climb1750m

Today’s ride will be an introduction to Mallorca. We will enjoy a light spin for a 2 to 3 hours although there will be a longer option available if anyone wants to enjoy a longer route. We will head east across the flatlands before riding up to the northern bay of Alcudia. From there, a huge wide cycling path tracks the water all the way to Pollensa. We will then head up towards Formentor. For those that want to reach the Cap, we will have a full ride to the lighthouse before a return through Lluc and back to the hotel. If you want a slightly shorter route, you will ride about halfway to the lighthouse before returning to the hotel.

This evening we will enjoy dinner at the hotel where you can chat with Laura about your day’s ride and what to expect from tomorrow.

Day 3Saturday 30th March
Total distance130kmTotal climb1000m

Today we will ride out to the eastern coast of Mallorca. The ride will be relatively flat but we will put some miles in. We will pass Sineu, Arta and head out to the beautifully unexplored north eastern coast. At Cala Mesquida we will head back south riding through Manacor towards the south of the island where golden beaches line the rocky cliffs. We will then ride back towards the hotel finishing off a really enjoyable, quiet day on the island.

Tonight we will enjoy some dinner and drinks before the briefing on tomorrow’s epic day.

Day 4Sunday 31st March
Total distance150kmTotal climb3500m

Our final day is the toughest on the bike. We will head straight into the Tramuntana, all the way over to the west coast, before discovering the sensational views at Estellencs. Our ride then snakes its way through the gorgeous Tramuntana villages of Valldemossa and Deia before a short descent to Port Soller. We will enjoy a coffee stop overlooking the port before some snakes and ladders as we head up and down from the port to Soller, down Sa Calobra and back up again. We will circle back through Lluc before heading back to the hotel after one of the best days you could have in Mallorca.

We will wave goodbye this evening as we take you back to the airport for your return flight.

How's the Weather? in Mallorca

The SpringMarch
The weather warms up in March in Mallorca when the winter season is well and truly over. You can expect mid to late teens in temperature, perfect riding weather, with cool evenings.

What to ExpectFrom one-on-one advice to unforgettable coastal rides

It’s not difficult to see whyMallorca is so popular. This is truly the cycling isle. Offering jaw dropping and astounding views across the Tramuntana mountain range to the west, to sleepy villages peppered with quiet fincas and orange groves, Mallorca has it all.
