My Recommended Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive into Calpe
I love arriving into Calpe to be greeted by the warm air as soon as the plane doors open! I'll usually drop my bags and then head to the beach or promenade for a bit of a relaxation as the sun begins to drop down to the horizon.
Day 2 - Costa Blanca Loop & Coll de Rates
123km total distance
Today is a brilliant ride, heading across the majestic Costa Blanca coastline, weaving through peaceful countryside and charming small towns before heading inland to tackle the iconic Coll de Rates, beginning in Parcent.
The climb stretches 6.5 km with an average gradient of 5%, offering rewarding views at the top. After a brief descent, there's one final short ascent before you enjoy a smooth, all-downhill ride back to Calpe.

Ascent: 1,805mDay 3 - Benasau Loop
118km total distance
Today's route is packed with switchbacks as you wind through smooth mountain roads, passing the tiny village of Benasau along the way. The main climb spans 17.7 km, gaining 910 m at an average gradient of 4.4%, though steeper ramps will test your pacing throughout. With stunning scenery and plenty of spots to pause for photos or a breather, the ride continues with a final 6.3 km ascent before a rewarding 37 km descent back home.
