Arrive & Depart At Any Time

A Typical Itinerary

  1. Day 1 – Welcome to Antequera

Touch down in the heart of Andalusia and step straight into history. Antequera, with its skyline punctuated by 30 steeples, invites you to wander its atmospheric streets and soak up centuries of culture. This is more than a warm-up – it’s your first glimpse of the adventure ahead. Your stay tonight? A characterful hotel like the Parador, setting the tone for what’s to come.

  2. Day 2 – Ride from Antequera to Lucena

    65km total distance

After a morning welcome and bike fitting, it’s time to hit the road. Or rather, the old railway line that now serves as your scenic route through rolling countryside. You’ll ride past some of the world’s most renowned olive oil mills – yes, that means you’re in prime tasting territory. Tonight, you’ll rest in Lucena, perhaps at a charming spot like Hotel Los Bronces.

  3. Day 3 – Glide to Doña Mencía

    30km total distance

Today is about big skies and even bigger views. You’ll continue along the Via Verde, a disused railway transformed into a cyclist’s dream. Olive groves stretch as far as the eye can see, and time-honoured towns like Cabra, Zuheros and Doña Mencía give you a glimpse into traditional Andalusian life. Settle into somewhere special like Hotel Mencía Subbética for the night.

  4. Day 4 – Pedal to Córdoba

    60km total distance

The ride into Córdoba is one to remember. You’ll weave through the foothills of the Sierra Morena, along peaceful roads flanked by pine forests and open farmland. When you reach Córdoba, let yourself be swept away by its cultural treasures, from hidden courtyards to the mesmerising Great Mosque. You might check into a central stay like Sercotel Selu.

  5. Day 5 – Cruise into Palma del Río

    66km total distance

Leaving Córdoba behind, you’ll trace an ancient Roman road across the fertile Guadalquivir valley. Stop off in Écija, a town famed for its equestrian traditions, then continue towards Palma del Río. Once a launchpad for missionaries heading to the New World, it’s a place steeped in stories. A historic gem like Hotel Monasterio San Francisco is your base tonight.

  6. Day 6 – Roll into Carmona

    55km total distance

Today’s route keeps the Guadalquivir river as your quiet companion as you journey through the rolling farmlands of Seville’s Campiña region. Carmona awaits – a beautifully preserved city that hasn’t changed much in over a century. Its Moorish walls, Baroque architecture and sleepy charm make it a true highlight. Check in somewhere full of character, such as Alcázar de la Reina.

  7. Day 7 – Arrive in Seville

    25km total distance

Your final ride is a gentle spin over the plateau of Los Alcores. This area once fed all of Seville, and the legacy is still visible in historic haciendas and fertile fields. In Alcalá de Guadaíra, pause to soak in its flamenco roots before hopping on a train to Seville. You’ll roll into a city that’s buzzing with life, music, and monumental history – from the operatic streets to modern marvels born of world exhibitions. The Silken Al-Andalus Palace is just the place to celebrate your journey.

  8. Day 8 – Departure or Extra Time in Seville

It’s up to you now. Head home with incredible memories – or stick around and uncover more of Seville’s secrets. Either way, you’ve just completed a journey that’ll stay with you forever. LOIRE VALLEY AND CHATEAU TOUR.png

What our Cyclists Say

Awesome customer Service like it used to be. When planning my husband's 50th birthday and knowing very little about cycling I decided to try Love Velo and I can't recommend them, and the service I've received from James Danvers highly enough.

I booked through Love Velo because the reviews were so good. I wasn't disappointed. Right from my first contact with LV they were easy to talk to and although I dithered (my first cycling trip abroad) they didn't press me. When I eventually confirmed my booking they took care of everything.

Everything about Love Velo has been faultless. From the initial notification of them teaming up with Le Col and to the pricing being unbelievable and then the customer service, top class. James, if all the staff are as attentive to every detail as you are then everyone will be as lucky as I have been. 100% at some point, hopefully in the near future I will be booking again with you guys. Thank you again
