Arrive & Depart At Any Time
A Typical Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival into Malaga
Upon arrival at Malaga airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Here you have direct access to incredible climbs as well as pristine beaches and lively restaurants and bars.
Depending on what time you arrive, pick up your bikes and settle into your hotel before an afternoon of exploring the region.
Day 2 - Puerto del Sol
Get ready to tick off a classic. Today’s ride takes you up El Puerto del Sol, a climb that’s earned its place in cycling folklore and often features in the Vuelta a Andalucía. Starting from the sleepy village of Alfarnate, you’ll snake your way south through rolling Andalusian landscapes, where olive groves and whitewashed farmhouses dot the horizon.
This is a ride that flows. The road undulates as you make your way back towards the city and the coast, each twist and turn offering new views and new challenges. It’s a day that captures everything we love about riding in southern Spain – quiet roads, stunning scenery, and the perfect mix of effort and reward.
Day 3- Cycling Malaga's White Villages
Today, you ride into the heart of Málaga’s wild beauty. Expect a day packed with contrasts – smooth coastal roads glistening in the morning light and twisty mountain climbs snaking through mango and avocado farms. It’s a route that serves up the very best of Andalusia, with sun drenched valleys, fragrant orchards, and quiet hilltop roads.
As you ascend into the Montes de Málaga, the views open up in spectacular fashion. Look back and you’ll see the Mediterranean shimmering in the distance, a perfect reward for your efforts. Whether you're chasing that summit buzz or pausing to soak in the silence of the hills, today is a reminder of why you ride.
Day 4 - El Chorro and the Caminito del Rey
Today you'll need a transfer which we can help you with if you need, to the charming town of Álora. The ride takes you through El Chorro, one of Andalucía’s most dramatic landscapes, with soaring cliffs and deep gorges that feel like something out of a movie.
Keep your eyes peeled for the Caminito del Rey, a jaw-dropping walkway clinging to the steep walls of the El Chorro gorge. It’s a spectacular sight and a true highlight of the day’s ride.
Day 5 - Departure
If today is your last day in Malaga, a transfer will arrive to take you back to Malaga airport after your bikes have been picked up. Relax this morning and take your time chilling out on the south-east coast before your onward journey.

What our Cyclists Say
Awesome customer Service like it used to be. When planning my husband's 50th birthday and knowing very little about cycling I decided to try Love Velo and I can't recommend them, and the service I've received from James Danvers highly enough.

I booked through Love Velo because the reviews were so good. I wasn't disappointed. Right from my first contact with LV they were easy to talk to and although I dithered (my first cycling trip abroad) they didn't press me. When I eventually confirmed my booking they took care of everything.

Everything about Love Velo has been faultless. From the initial notification of them teaming up with Le Col and to the pricing being unbelievable and then the customer service, top class. James, if all the staff are as attentive to every detail as you are then everyone will be as lucky as I have been. 100% at some point, hopefully in the near future I will be booking again with you guys. Thank you again
