Today offers a beautiful change of scenery as you pedal through vineyard-covered hills and into Liguria. The fishing village of Bocca di Magra marks your entry into a new region, and from here the coastal road offers breathtaking views across the Ligurian Sea. Arriving in Lerici, with its pastel houses and seaside charm, is like cycling into a postcard. Just a few more turns and you arrive in La Spezia, a vibrant port city full of culture, food and character.

Swap pedals for hiking shoes as you explore the legendary Cinque Terre. These five colourful cliffside villages – Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore – are strung along the coast like gems.
