Upon arrival in Tenerife South airport, you will be picked up and taken to the hotel.
You have the option of a new rider week, volcano week or the challenge week. The itinerary below explains what you can expect on each.
From Los Cristianos, you will ride up to La Centinela with just a gradual climb. Then it’s down to Granadilla, Vilaflor and eventually back to Los Cristianos.
From Los Cristianos, you will start an amazing ride to Abades, a beautiful coastal town, filled with small white bungalows and family run restaurants, serving delicious local food.
This day of the cycling holidays in Tenerife is a challenging day. After a ride through Tamaimo and & Santiago del Teide you have the option to climb one of the most famous Tenerife roads, Masca. The views from the short climb are awesome. You then ride to Chio before a 24km climb to El Teide, the mythical volcano looming over the island. After a couple of shorter climbs and an exhilarating descent, you will arrive back in Los Cristianos.
Let your legs recover with a gentle ride along the coast to El Medano where the emphasis is on enjoying the scenery, spinning the legs and finding great cafe stops.
Today you will be taken to Arico where you will start your ride. Passing through Guimar, you head up to El Teide with a 34km climb. Quite incredible scenery awaits you today as you ride through the beautiful El Teide national park, offering views across the island.
Today is the last day on the bike. You can either ride from Vilaflor or the hotel today depending on how you are feeling. The ride takes in a few more El Teide photo opportunities before a breathtaking descent to La Orotava for some home local cooked paella.
Today you will be taken back to the airport for your return flight home from your cycling holiday in Tenerife.
