What's Included

Your guided Vietnam cycling holiday

We can tailor make this trip for you
Day 1Arrival

You will meet your fellow cyclists and tour guide in Hue, where you can bond over a cycle around the city.

Day 2Hue to Lang Co Ride

Your first cycle of the trip will be down the coast, on a route which gives you a taste of Vietnam, sheltered by coconut palms, dunes and pagodas leading you to Lang Co Beach, where you will stay the night.

Total distance65km
Day 3Lang Co to Hoi An

This morning will be a challenge, a 10k climb to Hai Van Pass which Jeremy Clarkson described as a ‘deserted ribbon of perfection’. The descent will take you to Danang for lunch, then you’ll cycle along flat land to the city of Hoi An, so stunning it has been awarded UNESCO Heritage Site status. Take a wander to soak up the atmosphere and vibrant streets and make sure you stay out late enough to see the town light up with lanterns lining the river at night.

Total distance55km
Day 4Hoi An

This mornings ride will take you to My Son, a 4th century centre of Cham civilisation. The journey to My Son will be scenic and, although multiple temples were destroyed during the war, the remaining ones are still sure to impress. You will take a transfer or cycle back to Hoi An.

Total distance80km
Day 5Hoi An to Quang Ngai

This day of your cycling holiday in Vietnam will begin with a transfer to Quang Ngai (around 2.5 hours) followed by a cycle to My Lai, sight of one of the worst massacres in the Vietnam War. Total distance46km
Day 6Quang Ngai to Qui Nhon

It’s an early start so we can begin the expedition to Qui Nhon, capital of the Binh Dinh Province. The route takes us along peaceful tracks to Ba To Town, where the locals may be surprised to see western tourists.

Total distance73km
Day 7Dieu Tri to Tuy Hoa

The cycle from Dieu Tri is parallel to a railway line, with stunning scenery of the highlands. You will explore countless tribal and Viet villages, don’t be alarmed by the animals and children you may need to cycle around!

Day 8Tuy Hoa to Whale Island

For the last ride of your cycling holidays in Vietnam, expect beautiful landscapes with stunning mountains either side, tranquil rice fields and enchanting valleys.
