Gravel Cycling Holidays in Mallorca
What to Expect on This Trip
Mallorca's heartlands couldn't be a better place to ride gravel. Zigzagging quaint towns, olive groves and vineyards, you can ride the quiet countryside off the beaten track. Our gravel tracks will take you into areas only known to local farmers and beaches hidden to tourists. Base yourself in Sineu, the portrait of a typical Mallorcan town. Here you'll have easy access to all coastlines, popular cities such as Port Pollensa and Palma as well as other beautiful towns situated amongst Mallorca's countryside.

A Typical Itinerary
Day 1
Fly into Palma and we will take you to your hotel in Sineu in the heart of Mallorca. Away from the main tourist hubs, you'll find gorgeous countryside dotted with traditional fincas and windmills. Sineu itself is hugged by vineyards and vast stretches of vibrant farmland. When off the bike, Sineu is a heritage gem, what with old sandstone buildings lining the street that date back to Roman times.
Day 2
Today's ride takes you on the Toros de Gravel experience, tracing some of the routes used in the Mallorca gravel bike race. The trail doesn't include any of the iconic climbs road cyclists know Mallorca for, instead you'll be pedalling along ancient roads and coastal tracks just as epic, and just as fun. Discover hidden beaches in the area's surrounding Cala Murada and Portocolom.
Day 3
If you haven't heard of the Via Verde, you're in for a treat. This former railway line has been converted into a gravel path stretching over 30km from Manacor to Arta. Our favourite way to ride this is to enjoy some gravel rides pre lunch, and eat at the old train station at Sant Llorenc - the patatas bravas is amazing here! From here, you can pick up the gravel path from outside your lunch stop, and ride all the way into Arta. Loop home via Petra and stop off at the historic church and discover one of the most stunning towns on the island.
Day 4
Spend a day exploring the North West of Mallorca, cycling a loop around Old Pollensa town. You'll pass through typical Mallorcan towns such as Sa Pobla and Llubi on a mixture of gravel tracks and quiet country lanes used mainly by farmers. As you approach Pollensa, admire the epic Tramuntana Mountains as they loom large. When in Pollensa, rest your legs by wandering the cobbled streets, admiring the quaint sandstone buildings and learning about Mallorca's medieval history.
We will provide a transfer back to the airport today or you can choose to extend your trip.

What our Cyclists Say
Awesome customer Service like it used to be. I admit that I'm one of many people who have taken to booking holidays and flights direct to save a few quid. But when planning my husband's 50th birthday and knowing very little about cycling I decided to try Love Velo and I can't recommend them, and the service I've received from James Danvers highly enough.

I booked through Love Velo because the reviews were so good. I wasn't disappointed. Right from my first contact with LV they were easy to talk to and although I dithered (my first cycling trip abroad) they didn't press me. When I eventually confirmed my booking they took care of everything.

Everything about Love Velo has been faultless. From the initial notification of them teaming up with Le Col and to the pricing being unbelievable and then the customer service, top class. James, if all the staff are as attentive to every detail as you are then everyone will be as lucky as I have been. 100% at some point, hopefully in the near future I will be booking again with you guys. Thank you again
