Case Study 1 - British Cycling Gold Medal Winner Reception & Track Day
As the official travel partner of British Cycling, we were tasked with a very special corporate cycling event in 2018. To celebrate the departure of the Great Britain Cycling Team for Tokyo 2020 (held in 2021 due to Covid), we organised a very special corporate cycling challenge. We delivered an event to meet medal winners from Rio 2016 and to race around the Manchester Velodrome at the National Cycling Centre. 40 cyclists took part in a multi lap challenge of the velodrome, to clock their fastest time and compare it against medal winners from the previous Olympics. Needless to say this was a unique event that brought together Talent, press and local competition winners.
Case Study 2 - Brompton Anniversary Celebrations
We were approached by Brompton to deliver 2 events to celebrate an anniversary for the business. The first corporate cycling challenge that we delivered for them was a guided ride through the New Forest aboard the famous folding Brompton bike. We were able to organise specialist bicycle trailer delivery to take the bikes from their factory to the New Forest. Our trailers were tailored specifically to deliver each Brompton bike to the hotel in the New Forest. As corporate cycling trips go, this was a fairly not too strenuous and we delivered fabulous accommodation, guiding and route delivery.
The second event for Brompton was far tougher in respect of a cycling challenge as it was set in the stunning area of Talloires, Lake Annecy. Again, Love Velo delivered all bikes through specialist land delivery to Talloires, as well as arranging an epic corporate cycling challenge aboard the Bromptons, around the crystal blue waters of Lake Annecy.
Case Study 3 - BDO BDO Velo trips to Mallorca & Girona
BDO Velo are a corporate cycling network, conceived by BDO, the global accounting and business advisory firm. We have delivered 2 events for BDO Velo, for their blue chip clients and high net worth clients. The first was in Mallorca where every little detail was planned, right down to the bottles of wine in each room, at a stunning boutique hotel in the north of Mallorca.
Our second trip for them saw us deliver a fabulous corporate cycling trip to Girona in Catalonia. Riders stayed in the medieval city of Girona before riding out into the countryside and experiencing the epic climb of Rocacroba.
