Choose between 3 distances and ride one of the most sought after sportives in Europe. #Lovevelo #LoveCycling #Ridefurther
Mallorca 312
The Mallorca 312 is one of Europe's toughest closed-road cycling sportives, held on the last Saturday of April every year. The event runs across three distances - 312km, 225km and 167km. Love Velo has been the official travel package operator covering race entry, accommodation, and on-the-ground support for riders tackling any of the three routes for the last decade.
While 2027 entries are not yet on sale, registering your interest now puts you in the best position to secure a place, if, as expected, we are selected as a 2027 operator.
Our trips sell out every year, so if Mallorca 312 is on your list for 2027, now is the time to get ahead of the rush.

Your Mallorca 312 Trip
Day By Day Mallorca 312 Package
Day 1 - Arrival into Mallorca
Touch down at Palma Airport and our Love Velo team will be there to greet you before you board your shared coach transfer to your hotel in Playa de Muro or Can Picafort. Our handpicked, cyclist-friendly hotels sit perfectly placed near the Mallorca 312 start and finish lines, giving you easy access to the event village from day one. If you've booked our overground bike shipping service, your fully assembled bike will already be waiting for you at the hotel, so there's no unpacking a bike box and rebuilding your bike. Once you've checked in and settled into your room, kick the trip off properly at our welcome dinner, where you'll meet the Love Velo team and fellow riders joining you for the Mallorca 312 weekend. It's the perfect chance to swap stories, talk routes and get a feel for the adventure ahead, all before the riding even begins.
Day 2 - Warm Up Ride
Ease into the trip with a relaxed warm-up ride led by our expert local guides, including several ex-professional cyclists who know these roads inside out. The route winds through the towns of Santa Margalida and Sa Pobla, a gentle introduction to Mallorca's quiet lanes and rolling terrain before the main event. The ride finishes at the Mallorca 312 registration village, where you'll collect your race pack, grab a coffee and soak up the buzzing pre-race atmosphere alongside thousands of other riders. Our dedicated Love Velo mechanic will be on hand today to check over your bike and make sure everything is running smoothly and race-ready for the big day. That evening, the Love Velo team will be at dinner throughout, on hand to answer any last-minute questions and make sure you feel fully prepared and confident heading into race day.
Day 3 - Race Day
This is what you came for. Race day begins bright and early, with our hotels positioned close to the Mallorca 312 start line so you can roll straight out with minimal fuss and maximum time in bed. The Love Velo team will be up with you before dawn, on hand to see you off and make sure your start goes smoothly, whichever of the three distances you're tackling. From first pedal to final push, you'll take on Mallorca's breathtaking landscapes, from the Tramuntana mountains to the dramatic coast road, with an electric atmosphere all along the route. When you roll back into the hotel, expect big smiles, tired legs and stories to swap over dinner. This is the day the whole trip has been building towards, and it delivers every time.
Day 4 - Departure
After a laid-back breakfast it's time to say goodbye to Mallorca. Some of you will head to the airport with unforgettable memories, tired legs and fresh inspiration for the next challenge. If you've extended your stay, the Love Velo team will still be around, happy to point you towards their favourite recovery rides, coastal routes and things to do so you can make the most of a few extra days on the island.

A Wrap Up of our Mallorca 312 Weekend From Last Year
Another incredible Mallorca 312 weekend is in the books. We welcomed 300 riders out to the Mallorca 312 in April 2026, with a fairly even split across all three distances.
All of our riders stayed across our three main Zafiro hotels, close to the start and finish line in Playa de Muro, the beating heart of Mallorca 312 weekend. The hotels are apartment style, which means proper space to keep your bike in the room rather than squeezed into a corner, and all on half board, with some including drinks too, ideal for poolside recovery after a big day on the Mallorca 312 route.
200 riders joined us on our warm up rides on the Friday before the event, and with years of experience at the Mallorca 312 behind us, our guides, including several ex professional cyclists, split the group into pods of around 20 to keep the riding safe and manageable. Departures were staggered through the morning from each hotel, all finishing at the event village in plenty of time to register.
Race day itself was brilliant, if brutally hot, and a real test across every distance of the Mallorca 312 route. A special mention to our mechanic Barrie, who once again proved himself indispensable, sorting out any bike issue with a mix of expertise and quick thinking the moment riders unpacked. Speaking of which, our overground bike service continues to be a genuine game changer for anyone booking a Mallorca 312 cycling holiday with us, drop your bike off fully assembled at home and it is ready and waiting for you in Mallorca.

312 km Strava Route
Mallorca 312 Route
This is the full 312km Mallorca cycling route in Strava. Starting from Playa de Muro, the route heads into the Serra de Tramuntana for the toughest climbing of the day, taking in Col de Femenia and the long steady drag up Puig Major before the spectacular descent into Soller. From there the road hugs the coast tighter than anywhere else on the island, running past Deia and Valdemossa and along the dramatic MA10 towards Banyalbufar and Andratx. Nearly all the climbing sits in the first 150km, so once you are through the mountains the second half rolls out across quieter inland roads out towards the north west and Arta, before coming back along the northern coast to Playa de Muro. The full Mallorca 312 route has over 4,500m of ascent.
225 km Strava Route
Mallorca 225 Route
The Mallorca 225 route in Strava covers the middle distance of the three Mallorca 312 options, and takes in most of what makes the full event famous minus the final loop east. It begins in Playa de Muro and climbs early into the Tramuntana, over Col de Femenia and up Puig Major, before the long descent down to Soller. From here the route follows the coast road through Deia and Valdemossa, joining the MA10 for the run to Banyalbufar and Andratx, arguably the finest stretch of tarmac on the island. Once you are back through Lloseta the hard work is over, with the second half unwinding across gentler inland roads straight back to the finish in Playa de Muro rather than continuing on towards Arta. Elevation gain sits at around 3,800m.
167 km Strava Route
Mallorca 167 Route
Starting and finishing in Playa de Muro, the Mallorca 167 is the shortest of the three route options but still packs in the heart of the Tramuntana climbing. The road rises through Lluc before the long climb up Puig Major, one of the island's most iconic ascents, followed by the drop down into Soller. From there it hugs the coast through Deia and Valdemossa, though rather than continuing on to Banyalbufar and Andratx the route peels off towards Esporles at around the 100km mark. What follows is a quieter run home across inland roads back to the coast at Playa de Muro. With around 2,500m of climbing packed into a shorter distance, it is the most approachable of the three while still delivering the best of the mountains.
