We are rated 5* on Trustpilot

This is the second time I have travelled with Love Velo to the Loire and they are always helpful and charming. The bikes are first class and the hotels we had were very high quality.

My first experience of solo travel and one that ran seamlessly! I went to France to stay in Bédoin to climb Mont Ventoux. I loved every single minute of my trip and will definitely be using Love Velo again. I could not recommend them highly enough!

We genuinely had the best holiday we've ever had. We booked Love Velo for a cycling trip around Provence, France. The communication running up to the trip was fantastic and hey planned the trip perfectly. The rides were fab and were well tailored to what our capabilities were, with planned cafe stops and amazing stop offs in beautiful towns that we would never have found ourselves. Each hotel was fantastic, getting better each day, and the trip was exactly as we hoped - stress free! Baggage transfers were a must and our bags were always waiting for us when we got to each hotel. Can't wait to book the next one! :D

French Cycling Routes

If there's one thing France is known for it's its gastronomy. From bike and wine tours through Burgundy to tasting the best artisan cheeses in Provence, nothing stirs the soul quite like France.

If you're looking for a cycling and wine tour in France, you've come to the right place. Explore the Dordogne and Garonne rivers, stopping at esteemed vineyards to taste Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blends. Alternatively head into Burgundy for a deep red or the Loire for a crisp Chenin Blanc drunk in the shadow of a medieval castle in the Valley of the Kings. If it's Provence that excites you, visit Isle-sur-la-Sorgue by bike, the Venice of Provence, and wander through the Sunday market tasting local cheese and charcuterie.

From France's iconic mythical mountains such as Mont Ventoux & Alpe d'Huez to cycling holidays in Provence, e-bike tours along the Loire or exploring the wine regions of France by bike, we can showcase the very best of cycling in France.

The Best Cycling Climbs in France

Nothing ignites the passion for climbing like the cycling climbs of France. Home to some of the most revered roads in Europe and climbs made famous by the Tour de France, we can get you riding some of the most iconic ascents in the world.

Ventoux The Icon, The Legend

Standing in first place in the pantheon of mythical French climbing is Mont Ventoux. From iconic moments such as Chris Froome running in his cleats, Tom Simpson taking his last breath on the slopes, the buffeting winds and the gruelling ascent through the lunar landscape, this climb is cycling royalty.

You'll find whatever you're looking for in France. With years of experience cycling here and having sent hundreds of people to France every year, we're experts in the best places to ride, stay, eat and drink. Regardless of whether you're a seasoned rider or just getting started, we've got you covered.

The Alps Snow Capped Peaks

Synonymous with the Tour de France, Alpe d'Huez is a must ride on any cycling holiday in France. Experience the famous 21 bends, Dutch corner and the ascent to the ski village. Don't stop there though, make sure you experience the surrounding snow capped cols made famous on grainy tv images from early editions of the Tour de France such as the Galibier, the Telegraphe and the Croix de Fer to name just a few.

The Pyrenees Moody High Mountains

These mountains separate France from Spain and arewhere so many epic cycling battles have taken place. Ride in the tyre tracks of legends and conquer the Col du Tourmalet, the Col d'Aubisque and the Col du Soulor.

Cycling & Wine

Cycling and wine tours in France promise an enriching journey through some of the world's most celebrated wine regions. This unique blend of active exploration and sensory indulgence offers a deeper connection to the landscapes, traditions, and flavours of France. Whether you're gliding through vineyards, savouring a glass of exquisite wine, or discovering the country's rich history, the experience is sure to leave you with lasting memories and a desire to return. Cheers to an adventure where every pedal and every sip reveal the soul of France.
