DAY 1Arrival and Ride

Make your way to Loch Lomond and check in to the hotel.

DAY 2Explore the Scottish Highlands

Your guide will meet you at the hotel and the day is yours. Simply decide on whether you want a full day or half day on the bike and our guide will show you the best of the rugged and mesmerising Trossachs National Park.

DAY 3Explore the Scottish Highlands

Again, tell us whether you want a half day or full day guided cycle ride and our guide will take you out to explore the lochs and glens of this stunning region.

DAY 4Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, check out the hotel and make your way home.

The Scottish highlands is home to some of the most spectacular scenery and awe inspiring cycling in the UK. Jump on a mountain bike and explore the rough Scottish wilderness and get lost in the beauty of the lochs and glens of this incredible place.


The old saying ’there's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes!' is apt for the highlands. Yes it can be cold and experience wet weather but so long as you are prepared for an authentic exploration of the Scottish wilderness, the Highlands offers unrivalled mountain biking and a true break from the norm.


Your stay will be at the luxury 5* Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond. Boasting an incredible whisky bar serving hundreds of locally made whiskys, it is the luxurious surroundings, sensuous spa and state of the art gym which provides complete relaxation. The spa is equipped with a rooftop infinity pool, a hydrotherapy pool, ice fountain as well as the more usual sauna and steam rooms, making Cameron House the perfect base to explore Loch Lomond. This holiday is guided by local, friendly guides, all of whom are SMBLA qualified. The guiding is based on 2 half day rides but we are able to increase this to full day guiding if you prefer. Your guide will be able to show you the best of the surrounding Scottish highlands with their unrivalled knowledge of this awe inspiring location. 
The bike you will rent to explore the Scottish highlands is a Scott mountain bike. This well specced bike is a great way to explore the breathtaking beauty of this fabulous area. 
If you want anything from gel saddles to the hire of an electric bike, just ask our cycling experience team when you make your enquiry.  
Travel to Loch Lomond is not included but please ask our cycling experience team if you would like us to book any train or other travel to the Scotland.  
We consider travel insurance to be essential. Accordingly, it is a condition of making a booking through us that you have suitable insurance cover for the booking you have made and any activities which you expect to take part in. This insurance as a minimum should cover cancellation, baggage loss, accidents and health issues while you are away. We also recommend that you take your policy details with you when you travel. Please ask our cycling experience team if you would like us to arrange travel insurance for you.
