Upon arrival, you will be transported from Dubrovnik to the beautiful Konavle, where you can enjoy a warm up ride in the stunning Konavle valley.
Today you will see rural Croatia as you cycle through Dubrovnik’s farming area. Following the valley and river Ljuta, you will pass through the village of Zvekovica en route to Konavle’s countryside, where you will spend the night.
It’s time to leave Konavle and travel to the Peljesac peninsula and onto the beautiful island of Korcula, a Croatian gem and their vineyard capital. How you get there is entirely up to you. Those who wish to cycle can, whilst for those who fancy a day off the bikes, there will be a transfer provided.
Today you have the opportunity to see the sights of Korcula, which includes the Old Town, Cathedral and the house of Marco Polo. This circular route begins in the village of Lumbarda and finishes in Korcula town. After taking in the attractions, you will cycle along a peaceful coastal road, leading youto the picturesque bay of Racisce.
We’ll take a short ferry (around 30 minutes) to Mljet, renowned for its national protected area, salt lakes and historical monuments. Today’s cycling will start from either Pomena or Polance, two small towns located on the outskirts of the national park. The route leads us past Mljet’s famous salt lakes and through small villages such as Babine, Kuce and Soline.
Today you’ll take the ferry back to Dubrovnik, where a chauffeur will be waiting to take you to tonight’s accommodation. You will have the afternoon free to explore Dubrovnik and enjoy a walking tour in the historical centre courtesy of a local guide.
Today you leave Dubrovnik for a day trip to Elafite Island Sipan. First you’ll cycle from the hotel to port Gruz and take the transfer to Sipan. Your final ride of the trip will be chilled and combine sightseeing with time to relax on this tranquil and well preserved island. You’ll pass true Mediterranean landscapes of olive fields and vineyards leading up to a small harbour in Luka, on the west side of the island. You’ll see old churches, pine forests and summer residential palaces, from the days when Island Sipan was formally a place of residence for the patricians of Dubrovnik. Take a ferry back to Dubrovnik.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before getting a transfer to the airport for your homeward travel. Alternatively, we can arrange a transfer to another address or for you to extend your holiday for a few extra days.
