With its stunning volcanic landscape, warm climate and Mount Teide towering triumphantly, it's easy to see why the world's best, from Froome to Wiggo to Team Sky, perfect their riding on the island of Eternal Spring. We have 3 tours depending on your riding ability, all of which conquer the famous Mt Teide. Join either the new riders week, a week on the volcano or a week of the toughest cycling in Tenerife.

We can organise private camps or camps to join a larger group, just let our cycling experience team know your preference when you make your enquiry. Training camps are available from October to June.  
DAY 1Arrival & Holiday Itinerary

Upon arrival arrive in Tenerife South airport, we will take you to the hotel. 

You have the option of a new rider week, volcano week or the challenge week and the itinerary below explain what you can expect on each.

DAY 2Vilaflor

From Los Cristianos, you will ride up to La Centinela with just a gradual climb. Then it's down to Granadilla, Vilaflor and eventually back to Los Cristianos.

Today's ride is 65km in distance, with an elevation gain of 1,450m. 

DAY 3Abades

From Los Cristianos, you will start an amazing ride to Abades, a beautiful coastal town, filled with small white bungalows and family run restaurants, serving delicious local food.

Today's ride is 90km in distance, with an elevation gain of 1750m.

DAY 4El Teide

Today is a challenging day. After a ride through Tamaimo and & Santiago del Teide you have the option to climb one of the most famous Tenerife roads, Masca. The views from the short climb are awesome. You then ride to Chio before a 24km climb to El Teide, the mythical volcano looming over the island. After a couple of shorter climbs and an exhilarating descent, you will arrive back in Los Cristianos.

Today's ride is 80km in distance, with an elevation gain of between 2300m.

DAY 5Recovery Day

Let your legs recover with a gentle ride along the coast to El Medano where the emphasis is on enjoying the scenery, spinning the legs and finding great cafe stops.

Today's ride is between 43km with an elevation gain of 700m.

DAY 6El Teide

Today you will be taken to Arico where you will start your ride. passing through Guimar, we head up to El Teide with a 34km climb. Quite incredible scenery awaits you today as you ride through the beautiful El Teide national park offering views across the island.

Today's ride is 82km in distance, with an elevation gain of 2300m.

DAY 7Riding and Paella

Today is the last day on the bike. You can either ride from Vilaflor or the hotel today depending on how you are feeling. The ride takes in a few more El Teide photo opportunities before a breathtaking descent to La Orotava for some home local cooked paella.

Today's ride is between 82km in distance, with an elevation gain of 2750m. 

DAY 8Departure

Today we will take you back to the airport for your return flight home.


The island of eternal Spring is a Mecca for cycling enthusiasts looking to soak up some winter sunshine. The volcanic island offers some spectacular views across the glistening Atlantic, especially from Mount Teide.


Winters are extremely pleasant and even the hot summer months aren’t quite as hot as mainland Spain. Mount Teide influences Tenerife’s climate with the north being cooler and wetter than the south, but in reality, you’re likely to be basking in sunshine on a cycling holiday to Tenerife. 


Your stay will be at the Paradise Park 4* Spa Hotel. The hotel’s elevated position gives unrivalled views of the surrounding areas, beaches and the sea and offers both adult only areas as well as a great family vibe. With 5 pools, 2 restaurants, 4 bars a spa and wonderful customer service, this is the perfect base to enjoy Tenerife and get some winter training in. 
You will be met and collected at Tenerife South airport on your arrival and be provided with a transfer back to the airport on your final day.  
Your stay will be half board giving you a nutritious pre ride breakfast and a hearty, sumptuous recovery dinner. 
The holiday is fully guided and supported with 2-3 local experienced guides. With 6 guided routes carefully designed by our local guides, our rides offer the best Tenerife has to offer. Our guides are also Ironman qualifiers and will provide coaching and technical tips to improve your riding. They will provide daily briefings, maps, cue sheets and elevation profiles for each stage of your training giving you the best possible support on the island. 
Your rides will be supported by a fully equipped support van as well as a mechanic who can take care any mechanical issues.
Travel to Tenerife is not included but please ask our cycling experience team if you would like us to book travel to Tenerife for you. 
We consider travel insurance to be essential. Accordingly, it is a condition of making a booking through us that you have suitable insurance cover for the booking you have made and any activities which you expect to take part in. This insurance as a minimum should cover cancellation, baggage loss, accidents and health issues while you are away. We also recommend that you take your policy details with you when you travel. Please ask our cycling experience team if you would like us to arrange travel insurance for you.
