What's Included

Our suggested Lake Garda cycling holiday

You can begin and end this trip on any day of the week and we can make your holiday completely flexible.

We will pick you up at any airport (Verona is the closest) and take you to the shores of Lake Garda. We recommend staying in the north in Riva del Garda where we have a range of hotels for you to enjoy, from budget to luxury and from boutique to resort.

Each day, we have guided rides that you can join from Riva del Garda and they vary from cross country, e-biking, downhill and many other types of ride. We will tailor your holiday to include any number of guided rides and we suggest mixing a few days of guided rides with some self-guided lake rides as well as some time off the bike. For days you aren’t on the bike, you can relax in the sunshine or enjoy a variety of watersports including paddle boarding, sailing, kite boarding and kayaking.

When you make your enquiry, let us know what your perfect holiday would look like and we will create it for you.

What to ExpectFrom Almost unparalleled trails mountain biking and e-biking

For La Dolce Vita, look no further than Lake Garda, arguably the most beautiful European lake. 7% of all tourists to Italy head for the lake’s 90 miles of shoreline. Chocolate-box towns appear all round the lake whilst spectacular old church spires stand triumphantly above the buildings.

The dramatic mountainsides flank the lake and make for spectacular views and even better cycling. Watersports are also a favourite and you will see windsurfers and kiteboarders catching the lake’s winds. Vineyards populate the north of the lake whilst the mild Mediterranean climate in the south if the lake sees an array of olive trees and lemon groves lining the hillsides.

How's the Weather? in Lake Garda

The SpringMarch to May
The cycling season begins in Spring and the earliest time to enjoy riding is from April. Temperatures begin to rise to late teens and the air is wonderfully crisp and fresh.
The SummerJune to August
The summer is the most popular time to ride. Temperatures don't tend to fluctuate much between mid to late 20s and so you will feel plenty of sunshine on your back.
The AutumnSeptember to November
September is a great time to visit Lake Garda as temperatures begin to drop from the summer heat. Cycling will be hugely enjoyable in the early Autumn with temperatures around the mid 20s in September and gradually falling through the season.
The WinterDecember to February
The winter is best avoided for cycling in Lake Garda as you're likely to experience cold weather and rain.
