Escape to the white isle for some sun sea and hedonism. Cycle through quiet Balearic villages and gaze over the sparkling Mediterranean by day, and visit Pacha or Ibiza Rocks by night.
Arrive in Ibiza. We will be waiting to take you to the hotel in Ibiza Town. Check in and chill out.
DAY 2Discover the north
Today our guide will show you the north of the island. The north is rugged and quiet and offers some spectacular views. Cycle along the coast and then inland to Sant Carles. We might stop at Bar Anita for some ice cold gazpacho before heading to Cal de Sant Vincent and then up to Portinatx. From here there are breathtaking views across the Med with sheer cliff faces plunging into the sea. We then carry on our ride until we reach Santa Getrudis with a stop at Bar Costa (no not that Costa!) for the best tapas in Ibiza. Relax in the crisp white surroundings before heading back to the hotel.
After you're back head in to Ibiza town and hit the bars and clubs. Remember to ask us if you would like us to book anything in advance. We like the Harbour Club for something to eat and Pacha afterwards.
DAY 3Discover the south
We will ride through Ibiza town and then down the south west coast. Undulating, rolling rads dominate the day and we will make our way up to Es Cubells with a stop at Cala Jondal beach, a stunning bay popular surrounded by pine trees. From here, we stay on the coastal roads until we reach our favourite spot in the whole of Ibiza, Cala Carbo beach, a secluded, private beach looking out over a crystal blue lagoon. After lunch here, we make our way back inland and back to our hotel.
DAY 4Discover the northern coast
Today we will head back up through the centre of Ibiza. Passing rustic fincas and on quiet country roads, we will pass Santa Getrudis before heading up to Santa Agnes. From here, we will take the northern coastal roads up to Port Sant Miguel and discover the northern beaches. The road to Benirras is stunning and we can spend some time on the beach. Discover the Hand of God, a rock formation across the water before jumping back on the bike and heading back inland and on to the hotel.
Check out from the hotel and we will take you back to the airport.
Come and visit Ibiza and discover an island shedding its reputation for just stag and hen parties. From the beautiful cobbled streets of Ibiza town to gastronomic cuisine, Ibiza offers much more than just beach and partying. The cycling is usually on quiet roads with the more mountainous north offering awe inspiring vistas across the Mediterranean and the south offering undulating roads down to secluded beaches.
The weather in Ibiza makes it one of the most sought after destinations by bicycle and attracts cyclists from all over the world. Ibiza has a relatively cool but sunny Spring and Autumn so if you’re planning on travelling between March and May and September to November, you will see a lot of bikes. You can also cycle in the summer and we would recommend beautiful early morning rides or later afternoon rides and to avoid the midday sun.
Your accommodation will be a 4* hotel in the Santa Eulalia, a great location from which to cycle the island. All our trips are bespoke though so if you wish to stay in traditional accommodation or a different quality of hotel, just ask.
We have the best road bikes available for hire for your holiday. Simply advise your preferred options and components and we can match the right bike for you. Our essential bike for riding in Ibiza is a full carbon road bike with Ultegra groupset but we can upgrade or provide mountian, hybrid and e-bikes. If you would like, you can upgrade your bicycle to a full carbon with Dura Ace or DI2 electric gearing, or to our top specification bicycle - a full carbon road bike with DI2s, upgraded wheels and ultra stiff frame.
We consider travel insurance to be essential. Accordingly, it is a condition of making a booking through us that you have suitable insurance cover for the booking you have made and any activities which you expect to take part in. This insurance as a minimum should cover cancellation, baggage loss, accidents and health issues while you are away. We also recommend that you take your policy details with you when you travel. Please ask our cycling experience team if you would like us to arrange travel insurance for you.
